  3. All articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier [DOI] with prefix 10.5858/ijc for permanent discoverability and citability.

Article Processing Charge [APC]

To sustain open access publishing, an Article Processing Charge applies to accepted open access articles. The publication charge for this journal is 500 USD. This fee covers editorial handling, peer review management, plagiarism screening via iThenticate / Crossref Similarity Check, DOI assignment, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, and long-term archiving.

The APC is only payable after a manuscript has been accepted following peer review. There are no charges for manuscript submission or peer review.

APC Discount Policy

The journal offers a partial discount on the APC for authors who demonstrate verifiable financial need, based on World Bank country income classification or limited institutional funding. Requests for discount must be made at the time of submission. Please note that we do not offer full waivers. A minimum administrative charge applies to all open access articles.

Self-Archiving and Repository Policy

Authors are permitted to self-archive all versions of their article in accordance with our policy:

  • Preprint: Authors may deposit the preprint version in any repository at any time.
  • Accepted Manuscript: Authors may deposit the accepted manuscript in their institutional repository and non-commercial repositories immediately upon publication with full citation and link to the published version.
  • Published Version: Authors may deposit the final published PDF in open repositories under the CC BY 4.0 license.

Long-Term Archiving

IJC is committed to the long-term preservation of its scholarly content. All articles are archived through Crossref and preserved in our publisher's digital archive with CLOCKSS and LOCKSS compliant systems to ensure permanent availability.

Publication Ethics

All open access articles published in IJC undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts. The journal strictly follows the COPE Core Practices and the ICMJE Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals to maintain editorial integrity, transparency, and ethical standards.
