Article Processing Charges

To to fund the journals, ISJ charges an article processing charge to be paid by the author or the author's institution. This model allows ISJ to make all articles available to the public for free immediately upon publication. The journal levies an article-processing charge of $500 for each article accepted for publication. This amount maybe more if you are from a high-come country or less if you are from a low-income country. The journal does not charge a submission fee. Authors are required to pay the manuscript handling fee only after their manuscripts have been reviewed and accepted for publication by an editor.

Waivers

ISJ is committed to helping researchers overcome financial barriers to publication. Depending on circumstances, ISJ may reduce the fee for authors from developing countries. Authors can request a waiver or discount during the submission process as the journal routinely waive charges for authors from low-income countries.
