Editorial Process
1. Submission of Manuscripts
Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through our online submission system. All submissions should adhere to the journal's guidelines regarding format, length, and citation style. Upon submission, authors will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of their manuscript.
2. Initial Assessment
Once a manuscript is submitted, it undergoes an initial assessment by the editorial team. This step ensures that the manuscript meets the journal’s scope and basic quality standards. If the submission does not align with our requirements, authors will be notified promptly.
3. Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment are sent for peer review. We employ a double-blind review process, meaning that both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. This approach fosters an unbiased evaluation of the research.
Reviewer Selection: The editorial team carefully selects qualified reviewers based on their expertise in the relevant field.
Review Duration: Reviewers typically have two to four weeks to provide their feedback. They will evaluate the manuscript's originality, significance, methodology, and overall contribution to the field of agricultural sciences.
4. Editorial Decision
After receiving feedback from the reviewers, the editorial team evaluates the comments and recommendations. There are several possible outcomes:
Accept: The manuscript is accepted as is, or with minor revisions.
Revise and Resubmit: The authors are invited to make revisions based on reviewer feedback and resubmit the manuscript for further evaluation.
Reject: The manuscript is rejected if it does not meet the journal's standards or if the revisions are insufficient.
Authors will receive a detailed decision letter outlining the reasons for the editorial decision, along with any comments from the reviewers.
5. Final Acceptance and Publication
Once a manuscript is accepted, authors will be required to complete any necessary paperwork, including copyright agreements. The article will then undergo a final editing process to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to the journal’s formatting guidelines.
After final approval, the article is scheduled for publication in an upcoming issue of the International Journal of Agricultural Sciences. Authors will be notified of the publication date and provided with proofs to review before the final release.
6. Post-Publication
Upon publication, articles are freely accessible to the public, promoting the dissemination of knowledge and research within the agricultural sciences community. Authors are encouraged to share their work across various platforms to enhance visibility and engagement.
